Together, this system enhances protection around the beam fillers and meets USA Gymnastics event requirements.

Crafted with the same hand-sewn precision and premium materials our products are known for; this mat delivers exceptional durability and long-lasting performance. It features 2” hook on the top of the mat and 2” of loop on the underside of the flap at the opposite end, making it easy to connect to both the beam filler and the 4’x4’ beam mats.

*Per the 2025-2026 USA Gymnastics rules and policies (page 81) – beam dismount matting requirements must include a minimum of 4 feet by 4 feet of padding between the end of the beam and the under-beam matting.

Featuring hook-and-loop fasteners on the top of two sides, it easily connects to the 416-227 mat providing a secure and seamless mat system. The previous end mats for the balance beam 416-197 (8’x15′ 6″x12cm) were changed to 416-227 (8’x15′ 6″x12cm) with additional Velcro on the top, so they could be securely connected to the new 4’x4’ Beam mats.
